Our Winter Qigong Workshop combines an eclectic mix of movement, meditation,breathwork and sometimes shared bodywork to bring you to a place of quiet stillnessand awareness, to enable ease and softness in the body, rest and relaxation in the mindand profound reconnection with spirit.
Our theme for this wonderful afternoon is based around the Water Element of Chinesemedicine.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the essence of the Winter is governed by the Water element, which is associated with the Bladder and Kidney channels.
The essence of the Water element itself embodies adaptability, the deeper part of you,your intuition, and subconscious, representing lifes flow, ancestral Qi and wisdom and isstrongly linked to stillness, quiet reflection, fear and courage, guiding us to navigateobstacles with flexibility and inner strength, much like the quality of water itself.
The practice of Qigong is a beautiful journey in returning home to our hearts and feelinga deep sense of wholeness and integration. When our body, hearts and mind arebalanced we feel vibrant and alive. We feel elevated and nourished.
In this spirit we shall be creating a safe and nourishing space to deeply rest, restore ourenergy, and let go of that that no longer serves us, making space for reflection, quiet anddeep joy, gently releasing and creating a sense of renewal through a mixture of Qigong, Meditation, Movement and Breathwork.
By turning our attention inwards in this workshop, we connect with the different parts ofour bodies and learn to establish a dialogue with our own body. This dialogue is both anew and ancient way to approach and experience ourselves. By becoming more awareof ourselves and our own energy we explore our connection with the powerful universalenergies. When we begin to integrate all parts of ourselves and the universe, wepromote our body’s innate ability to heal, maintain and regain optimal health.

Join Connie & Will at the gorgeous seaview studio Natural Fitness Center in Eastbourne for an evening of Kirtan. Kirtan is a simple, powerful practice of call-and-response chanting with live musicians that invites us out of the busy mind and into the heart.
Kirtan is a place of healing, belonging, and deep listening - and I feel honoured to share this space with you. You don’t need to know how to sing or have any experience; just come as you are.

The Blissful Sound Bath experience begins with a short self massage (without oils) to the head, neck and shoulders along with some simple yoga stretches to further ease tension from the physical body.
This is followed by a blissful deep yogic "sleep" where the mind is induced into a peaceful stillness while the body sleeps whilst being kept warm and comfortable with blankets, bolsters and whatever you choose to bring with you! About half way through the process, the sounds of Tibetan and crystal bowls, Himalayan chimes and other instruments are introduced as part of this healing transmission.
Creating sound baths is all about intention and the healing transmission that accompanies your experience occurs through a special remote healing process taught by Dr Sue Morter - Master of Bio-Energetic medicine.
The Blissful Sound Bath is the perfect way to take time to rest, restore and rejuvenate as part of your self care ritual.
