CLASSES

All of what Milly teaches is concentrated on core and pelvic floor work integrated with breath patterns. Building strength in to the core (which comprises of your abdominal wall, pelvic floor and diaphragm) can relieve a number of these symptoms;

- Bladder weakness

- Pelvic floor dysfunction

- Prolapse

- Back pain

- Weak core

- Diastasis recti (abdominal separation)

- Vaginal atrophy

Strength work is really important for women in midlife and beyond. When it comes to muscle tone, if you don’t use it; you lose it. The physical effects of appropriate strength work can be seen visually on the body, but the hidden benefits include;

- Hormonal regulation

- Endorphin (feel good hormones) release

- Neurotransmitters to help your memory

- Benefits for bone health

- Boosting metabolism

- Preventing vaginal atrophy

- Mental health

- Sleeping well

Milly’s ‘Body, Core and Pelvic Floor Strength’ classes do exactly what it says on the tin in terms of training your body strength, core strength and pelvic floor strength. This is a slow-paced class where breath work and strength work come together, your body will thank you! We intersperse plenty of mobility into the class to have you feeling like a skippy spring lamb yet as strong as an ox.
