KAHLM Movement and Dance

Hi I’m Claire. 50 year old, ex gymnast with a background in dance.

Discovering I could still turn cartwheels and walk on my hands as I entered into my 50’s sparked an idea to encourage more of us to find, rediscover or redefine the way we move as we age. Many of us don’t dance anymore, or only in our kitchens or at a family wedding.
I aim to liberate your inner grove and give it a bit of space to find itself and flourish.

Why a class for Menopausal Women?

Entering the menopause has brought its own personal challenges and I know these are shared by many women.
Anxiety, lack of self confidence a sense that you've become a bit invisible, unsexy, poor sleep quality and physical changes to our bodies all impacting our self esteem.

I founded Kahlm to find a way to keep moving through the menopause in a fun and uplifting way but also a space to share experiences and menopause life hacks.

Kahlm movement class aims to lift the spirit and heart rate through a series of fun, freeform movement sequences to empower and aid confidence in your body and invites you to bring your own dance moves to this daytime party.
